In order to allow delegates to pay through PayPal, you must configure your PayPal account correctly and connect it to your Ex Ordo registration. This article explains the steps to connect your PayPal account to Ex Ordo.
You must first complete the registration setup wizard before integrating your PayPal Business account. More information can be found in this article on setting up the registrations hub.
You must have a PayPal Business account. Personal PayPal accounts cannot be integrated with Ex Ordo.
Step 1: Login to PayPal Developer
To find your PayPal access token, navigate to https://developer.paypal.com/ and login using your regular Paypal login details.
This is also accessible by logging into your PayPal account and clicking on Developer in the upper right-hand corner of your dashboard.
Step 2: Open Apps & Credentials
Click on Apps & Credentials from your PayPal Developer dashboard.
Step 3: Copy your Client ID and Secret
You should see your client ID and secret on this page, underneath the REST API apps. This is what you will need for the integration.
Step 4: Paste your Client ID and Secret into Ex Ordo
1. On Ex Ordo, go to the Registrations hub
2. Click on the Manage menu
3. Select Payments
4. Enable the Card Payments option (if not yet enabled)
5. Paste your Client ID into the first field
6. Paste your secret into the second field
7. That't it!
Your secret ID is not be visible in Ex Ordo for security purposes.
