Assigning submissions to a review group before the review starts
Review groups will help you to manage your review process. To use this properly each submission should be added into the corresponding review group that was previously created before allocating. You can find more about on how to create a review groups in the article here.
Assigning submissions to review groups before allocating:
- Click on the Reviews hub at the top of the page
- You will now see the List of Submissions
- You can use the filters at the top of the List of Submissions to quickly narrow down submissions if your review groups are based on topics, format or track. Alternatively, you can use the search bar to locate specific submissions.
- Place a check in the box at the top of the List of Submissions to select all submissions.
- Selecting only some submissions? Place a check in the box to the left of the specific submission(s) only.
- Click on the Review Group drop-down
- Select one or more review groups
- Click Apply
- Change your filters and repeat these steps to continuing assigning your remaining submissions to review groups
Pro tip! Checking that all submissions have been assigned to a review group:
- Click on the Reviews hub at the top of the page
- You will now see the List of Submissions
- Click on the filter at the top of the page
- Select Not in Any Review Group
- You can assign submissions in this list to their corresponding review group
- When there are no submissions in the Not in Any Review Group list, your work is complete!
