Displaying specific start and end times of presentations in the programme

You may have a session with four presentations that starts from 10 and ends at 11. You may want to display the specific start and end times for each presentation; and each presentation may have a different amount of time to share their work. This article explains how you can display the start and end times for each presentation in a session.

You can display presentation times:

  • in the programme hub only. This is not available in the Virtual hub.
  • for sessions with assigned presentations only. You can not specific display presentation times in sessions with no presentations, such as coffee breaks or manually created sessions.

Creating sessions that allow you to have specific presentation times

It is important to confirm that you have created a session using one of the options on the session tab. Presentation times are not available on conference events, refreshments or social events.

Next, ensure you choose the Assign Presentations option. Presentation times are not available with manually created content.

Check our our article on assigning presentations to sessions here for more details.

Configuring presentation lengths

By default, presentation lengths will be equal if enabled. This allows you to set a length of time that applies to all presentations in the session. you can also add intervals, or breaks, between presentations.

If enabled, attendees will see the specific presentation times and intervals in the schedule.

You may need one of the presentations to be longer than another. You can do this by updating the default setting so that presentations are Different Lengths. You will then have the option to add the specific start and end times for each presentation.
