Requiring a file upload in Initial Submissions

On Step 6: File formats, you can choose to enable a file upload or not. If enabled, all authors are required to upload a single file. You can choose to:

• Disable the file upload
• Collect only PDFs
• Collect only Word Docs
• Collect any file type 
• Need to collect a file, but it is optional? Disable the file upload step and add a custom file upload question to Step 7: Additional Information instead.

Ex Ordo Book and File Uploads

Building a book of proceedings with Ex Ordo? Files must be in PDF format to appear in the book. You can collect a different file type now and require PDFs from accepted submissions in the final submissions hub after the review. 

Not opening the final submissions hub or worried accepted authors won't upload their content in PDF format after the review? We recommend collecting PDFs during initial submissions to ensure we can build the book for you.
