[Review Group Chairs](https://help.exordo.com/review-group-chairs?hsLang=en) # Review group chair: Manual allocation As a review group chair, you may be asked to decide which submissions will be reviewed by which specific reviewer. That means you will have to manually allocate reviewers on submissions. The steps and video below explain this process.     #### Step 1: Click on the Reviews hub at the top of the page   ![](https://help.exordo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-11-2025-02-22-57-9956-PM.png?width=670&height=361&name=image-png-Apr-11-2025-02-22-57-9956-PM.png) #### Step 2: Click on a reviewer slot This could be an empty 'No Reviewer' slot or a slot with a reviewer that you need to change.    ![](https://help.exordo.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-11-2025-02-22-13-4868-PM.png?width=670&height=463&name=image-png-Apr-11-2025-02-22-13-4868-PM.png)   #### Step 3: Select a reviewer You will have 4 options to choose from in the pop up.  - **Recommended Reviewers**: Choose one of the "recommended reviewers" as determined by Ex Ordo's statistical analysis of the underlying submissions and available reviewers. - **Search by Name or Email:** Browse or search the *full list of available reviewers* available to you. - Invite a Reviewer: Invite an external reviewer that is not currently available in the list of reviewers. This is useful if you would like to invite a colleague that has not yet been invited to be a reviewer for this conference. - **No Reviewer:** For whatever reason, you may decide to leave one of the review slots vacant.
