Your submission(s) will remain pending until you complete all steps of the workflow. Each platform is unique and there are a few places where you may see a status of pending. This article explains submission status in more detail.
Initial submissions:
Prior to the reviewing stage, a submission can have one of three statuses:
- Submitted: all required steps are complete and the submission is ready for review
- Pending: the submission is not complete, meaning there are required fields that need to be completed
- Withdrawn: where the submission is no longer to be considered for the conference.
Pending and withdrawn submissions cannot be reviewed. You must complete your submission before the submission deadline to be eligible for review
Final Submissions
Accepted authors may be asked to edit existing content or upload new content after the review. Only some conferences open final submissions so you may not see this option.
There are three possible statuses in the final submissions hub:
- Completed: you have gone through the full final submissions workflow and provided all required information.
- Pending: the workflow has not been completed, some required information may be missing.
- Withdrawn: you, a co-author or a conference organisers withdrew the submission. This status may mean your content will not be included in the conference. We recommend contacting the conference organisers or support@exordo.com if you believe this was done by mistake.
Presentations:
Accepted authors may be asked to upload presentation material, such as a PowerPoint file. You may not be asked to do this. Presentation statuses include:
- Complete: all required fields in the presentations workflow have been completed
- Pending: the presentations workflow has not been completed, required fields may be missing information
FAQs:
My work is pending and the deadline has passed. What should I do?
We recommending reaching out to the conference organisers to explain the situation. They may be able to accept content or files after the deadline.
