# Track chair: Closing a review

When the review is underway, you can close a review. This would be needed if you wished to make a decision, but there are unfinished reviews. The  **Close Review** function will then push the submission into the decision stage.

### 1. Go to the list

Navigate to the **List of Submissions** in your **Review** hub.

### 2. Select the submissions

Tick in the box to select all submissions for which you would like to Close Review. On the list, you can see the percentage of completed reviews for each reviewer. 

When all submissions are selected, you see a new set of options appearing at the top of the list. Select the **Actions** dropdown and **Close Review** option:

By choosing this, all the submissions with No Reviewer status and those that are In Progress will be closed for review. The decision box will appear underneath the submission and all submissions will be ready for the acceptance/rejection decision. A general score will be calculated based only on the completed reviews.

### 3. Make your decisions and notify authors
