Completing your final submission

 

Some conferences ask accepted authors to log in after the review and complete the final submissions workflow. The final submissions workflow enables authors to edit existing content or upload new content such as a final paper. 

 

You may not be asked to complete the final submissions workflow because not all conferences open the final submissions hub. This article explains the process for completing your final submission if requested by the conference organisers. 

 

First, locate the My Final Submissions card on your dashboard. You can click on the View All button to see all of your final submissions, or click on the Submit Final Submission button to begin the workflow on a specific submission. 

 

 

You can also click on My Submissions at the top of the page and navigate to the My Final Submissions tab. Then, click on a specific submission to expand it. 

 

 

Next, click Edit in the bottom right-hand corner. 

 

 

The conference organisers may have shared helpful information in the Guide for Authors. We recommend reading this information carefully before clicking Next

 

 

You can now click through the remaining steps. Each conference creates their own final submissions workflow. The workflows can include:

  • editing your submission title and abstract
  • responding to reviewer feedback
  • updating your author information 
  • uploading a file, such as a final paper
  • agreeing to a copy-right transfer

 

Your final submission status will be 'completed' after completing all of the steps in the workflow. You will be emailed a final submission receipt 15 minutes after completing your final submission.

Why can't I see my final submissions card?

You may not see your final submissions card if:

  • your submission was not accepted
  • the conference organisers have not opened the final submissions hub
  • an author on your submission declined the RSVP for the group. You can read more about the RSVP process here.
  • You may have duplicate accounts in Ex Ordo and your submission is linked to your other account. Please reach out to support@exordo.com if you suspect you have duplicate accounts. 

 

I have already completed my final submission but I need to change something. Can I edit it again? 

You can continue to edit your final submission before the final submission deadline. Only conference administrators can modify submission content after the deadline passes. Please reach out to the conference organisers directly in this case.
