Allowing reviewers to decline reviews

 

 

Reviewers will be notified that it is time to start reviewing by sending invitations to reviewers. You may want to give them the option to decline a review in the system. You can either Allow or Do Not Allow reviewers to decline reviews by following the steps below. 

  1. Navigate to the Reviews hub
  2. Open the Configure Review menu
  3. On Step 2, set your choice under the Decline Assigned Reviews section

 

 

If enabled, Reviewers will have the option accept or decline assignments by clicking on the Review or Don't Review buttons.

 

 

Reviewers that decline a review will be asked to provide a reason. Admins on the platform will receive an automated email informing them that a review has been declined so it can be reassigned. 

 

 

The Review Overview card shows the number of unassigned reviews. Admins can click on the assign button to view any unassigned reviews. 

 

 

Admins can then assign a new reviewer by clicking on the no reviewer slot. Check out this article on changing review assignments during the review process for more information.
